This statewide program provides rebates for qualifying **heat pumps** and **heat pump water heaters** installed in **existing homes served by Xcel Energy** (gas or electric). It’s designed to make high-efficiency heating and cooling upgrades more affordable. Who qualifies for these rebates? Homes must receive **electric or gas service from Xcel Energy** in Colorado. Eligible properties include **single-family homes, duplexes, and fourplexes**. Rebates apply to **existing homes only** — no new construction or additions. Which equipment qualifies? - **Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)** – ducted, ductless, or mixed systems - **Cold Climate Heat Pumps (CCHP)** – must meet **NEEP cold-climate specs** - **Heat Pump Water Heaters (HPWH)** – must be **ENERGY STAR® Tier 3 or higher** How much are the rebates?
